TALE OF £IO,OOO WIN. CHARGE AGAINST SALESMAN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, 'Friday.' George Paul Zaokley (46) salesman, was charged in the Supreme Court with obtaining from David L>nn Thompson £9-5 by falsely representing that lie was the holder of a ticket In the Irish Sweepstake that had won £IO,OOO, on the -strength of which Thompson advanced the money in \anous sums on different dates Thompson, in reply lo His Honour, said he would not have lent a halfpenny hut for the representation by accused that lie had-won £IO,OOO. Accused was found guilty and was remanded for sentence.
