A number of burglaries in the Huti Valley, some of considerable magnitude, were cleared up in the -Petone Court to-day, when Leslie George Parminter (33), engineer and carpenter, pleaded guilty to three charges of breaking, entering and theft and two of being in possession of unregistered firearms. The places entered included the *Seif Help Co-operative Company, at Trenlham, the dwelling of Emil Arthur Rodgers at Haywards (from which goods and 1 material to the-value of nearly £77 were taken), and the shop of Stiles and Deans, of Lower was. committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
