Hamilton, of St. Albans, jumped a side channel in. Boaley Avenue, smashed a six-foot paling fence, and then crashed Into the side of a house, portion of which was shifted off Its foundations. Several articles in the room, including a clock, were broken. The bumper of the car was embedded in the broken weatherboards. One of tlie occupants of the bouse, Mrs F. Blewett, received a severe fright from the noise and impact. The driver of the car was not hurt. The accident was caused by the car colliding with another car at. the corner and swerving of the road.
