MASKED CARNIVAL BALL. The EureKa Hall presented a carnival scene on Monday evening, when Clarrie Cress we 11 held his annual ball. The hall was decorated with gaily coloured streamers, 'balloo'ns and softly-shaded lights. A large crowd of visitors were present. Cresswell's Rythm Boys provided the music, which was much appreciated. Mr Mc-Kln-tosh and Mr Gordon Johns supplied the extras. During the evening Misses Dulcie Sorenson, Jessie Crcsswell and Norma Johns each gave exhibitions of fancy dancing, which were very much enjoyed. Confetti and balloon dances were very popular and .Monte Carlos were won by Miss Dulcie Smith and Mr Malcolm Nixon, and Miss Betty Gifford and Mr Ray Gifford. A dainty supper was served, after which dancing continued till a late hour. A euchre tournament was held for non-dancers, the successful players being Mrs G. Hinton and Mr Manson.
