DECREASED POPULATION. STATISTICIAN'S CONCLUSIONS. United Press Assn.—Elcc. Tel. Copyright. BERLIN, Nov. 29. Although Germany’s population has increased by 2,700,000 in the last eight years, she is still 2,500,000 short of her pre-war population of 07,000,000, according to the census, slates Dr. Hurgdorfer, chief of the statistical bureau. Dr. Hurgdorfer declares that Germany has lost 13.000,000 in population'since 191 i. including 0,000,000 due to the war, of which 2,000,000 were killed and 750,000 died owing to the blockade. Births fell by 3,500,000 and the remainder of the loss is due to annexations from Germany. He also emphasised the great decrease hi post-war births.
