RHODES SCHOLARSHIPS.
THREE AWARDS UNLIKELY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The Registrar of 'the New Zealand University, Mr E. T. Norris, who is also the 'secretary of 'the Rhodes scholarships selection committees, says that there is nothing in the correspondence with the Rhodes trustees to support the motion that three scholarships may possibly be awarded next year.
If anything, he Contends, the inference points in the contrary direction.
