With holiday pomp which the citizens scarcely noticed, General Goering, Premier of Prussia, inaugurated the new Prussian State Council which is to supplant Parliament over whloh General Goering recited _ a virtual funeral oration, declaring it to be “ a system with cowardly promises, which both in 1862 and 1912 refused to vote the-army budget, thus directly causing Germany’s defeats. It is announced that Herr Hitler, the Chancellor, has decreed a new Prussian flag bearing the Swastika joined to the Prussian eagle.
