A MORE UNITED EMPIRE.
EFFECT OF CONFERENCE. CANADIAN MINISTER’S VIEW. United Press Assn.—Eiec. Tel. Copyright. QUEBEC, Aug. 3. The Canadian Minister of Finance, Mr. E. N. Rhodes, returned from the World Economic Conference to-day. He expressed the opinion • that one great advantage of the conference from the Canadian point of view was the closer cementing together of the various parts of the Empire. Opportunity had been taken for almost constant consultation between the Empire delegations. Probably never had the Empire found it possible to act in more whole-hearted cooperation, or to speak- with a more unanimous voice on fundamental world problems.
