CANADIAN LOAN.

The prospectus for the Canadian loan of £15,000,000 states that no part of the proceeds will be readmitted directly or indirectly to oountries outside the Empire. The Financial News says it would take more than £15,000,000 to enable the authorities td' peg the Canadian dollar to the pound, but the new loan is an important step in that direction. The Financial Times says part of the proceeds of the loan will remain in London at the credit of Canada. The loan thus will help toward realisation of the stabilisation plan to which the Empire delegates to the Economic Conference appen'd their signatures.
