FEATURES FOR COMING BEABON. LONDON, August 1. The Paris correspondent of the News Chronicle says plum, lllao and violet are the dominating colours at the new season’s dress shows, which feature a whole range of clothes in other colours —spinach, olive greens, mustards and muddy browns. The styles include “ bottle shoulders,” curved corset steels giving a pull-back effect, pinched-in waists, folded draperies, back skirt fullness and basques. Trimmings Include soft ragged fringes,, small fussy buttons, pipings,,, padded cordlngs and even cameo breast-pins. There are soft cashmere woollens, more brocades and velvets, stiff satins and other fashionable materials. Hats also are changed out of all recognition.
