ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.
OTAGO V. AUCKLAND. DATE OF THE AIATCH, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. The Otago Football Association has definitely fixed Augpst 26 for the Football Association Trophy match against Auckland at Dunedin. The Auckland Association advised that this date would not be suitable if an Auckland team had to play in the final of the Chatham Cup competition at Wellington, which was on that date.
However, it was the only suitable date for the Otago Association and it was decided to advise the New Zealand Council and Auckland accordingly.
