The newspaper Asahi asserts that the military authorities contemplate drastic measures to recover overdue loans from China, the pretext being afforded by the alleged loans concluded during Mr T. V. Soong’s reoent visit to England and America. The proposal is to make extensive seizures of telephones and telegraphs on which several Japanese loans ara secured.
