Hamilton Hikers —Hiking enthusiasts assembled in Hamilton the other day and discussed plans for a tramp. If "sufficient support is forthcoming a club ■ will be formed in the near future. It was decided to take a bus to Cambridge next Sunday morning, and tramp back during the afternoon.
Diviner Finds Body. Another triumph (says a London paper) has been added to the record of Mr John Clarke, the water diviner, of Ab-Ket-tleby ' Leicestershire, who recently located four bodies in rivers in the Midlands within a fortnight. At almost the precise spot ho indicated nearly two months ago the body of eight-year-old William Henson, of Carlton, near Nottingham, was recovered from the River Trent. Henson lost his life trying to save another boy at. a spot several miles from where his body was recovered. Mr Clarke in tils quest for bodies uses a piece of the missing person’s clothing, a length of galvanised copper wire, and a hazel twig.
