Beautiful jewels were among the many presents received by Barbara Hutton, the heiress to the Woolworth millions, whose marriage to Prince Alexis Mdivani of Georgia took place to-day. ' ■ ’ > ■ % Her aunt, Mrs James Donahue, gave her a- magnificent, diamond bracelet,and another gift Was a pair of diamond and ruby'earrings. . -V | But. the gift which has pleased her best, she says, was a set of volunpes on Chinese art, a subject in which she, Is, deeply interested. She spends all her spare time , poring over., .these books, and they lie on the table at her bedside. A Venice Speed-Boat. Speeding up and down the Grand Canal at Venice in a motor-boat is included in the honeymoon arrangements- The boat, which is the gift of her father, Mr Franklin Hutton, will be delivered in Venice in time for her arrival there after a short visit to Villa d’Este on Lake Como.
