Robertson; The position on the Hutt Road at night Is nowadays so bad that I am getting afraid to travel along it. The secretary (Mr N. Sutherland) said the ! headlight regulations were not airthey should be,'and the police were sometimes loath to take offenders to oourt because of their doubt about obtaining a conviction. It was deoided to form a remit on the question so that it could be discussed at the annual conference ot the North Island Motor; Union in Auckland next- month.
