CYCLE ROAD RACING.
INTER-CLUB EVENT. R. MURRAY FIRST HOME. Members of the Hamilton and Waikato Amateur Cycle Glubs met in an inter-club handicap road race. from Steele Park to Cambridge and back, 26 miles,-on Saturday afternoon. Conditions were favourable and some good performances were recorded. R. Murray was llrst to finish, while W. Lentfer put up fastest time.
Results were as follows: —R. Murray (7m!n. ■ lOse'c.), 1; A.' Ryan (7.25), 2; W. Fenson (10.20), 3; W. Montford (5.0), 4; B. Waugh (4.35), 5; W- Lentfer (scr.), 6 and fastest time (G7min. 4sec.).
