HERD-TESTING RETURNS.
ALTERATION IN METHOD. PARTICULARS OF EACH COW. It was slated by the general manager (Mr S. J. Sheaf) at the annual meeting-of conveners of the New Zealand llcrd-Testing Association that full consideration of the question of an alteration in tho method of compiling members’ returns had beon given, with tho result that an entirely new system had been installed for tho coming season. Members would receive their testing sheets set out In an infinitely belter manner, and would also be provided with certain information regarding the milk production ol' every cow tested. Facilities would also he provided whereby members could flic thcii slice Is in a convenient manner, and he was sure the new system would bo greatly appreciated. lie mentioned that If had been a very difficult matter to effect such a substantial improvement in the system, provide members with milk figures, and at tho same time keep down the office overhead expenses.
