WAIKATO TIMEB FUND. RELIEF OF LOCAL DISTRESS. Recognition of the useful object of the Waikato Times Winter Comfort Fund in providing work for Hamilton’s needy unemployed continues to be shown in tangible form, and as a result the fund now totals over £35. The money given to this cause is handed over lo the Hamilton Beautifying Society and Hamilton Domain Board to he expended In providing work for the most necessitous of the unemployed. Besides helping the town’s needy families, the subscriptions to the fund are assisting to still further beautify the town.
