N.Z. LOAN COMPANY.

POLICY CHANGES ANNOUNCED. TWO AGENCIES CLOSED. Some important policy changes are announced affecting the Waikato territory of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited. ’ Following on the recent visit to New Zealand of Mr G. M. Reid, London manager of the company, who made a thorough Investigation of the company's business in the Dominion, it was decided to close some of the smaller agencies, with the object of concentrating business more at the main branches.

As a result of this policy the Hamilton branch has closed down agencies at, Te Kuitl and Te Aroha, and has, consequent on an understanding with other stock and station firms, discontinued selling at Te Kuiti, Pio Pio, Rangiriri, Ohinewai and Waingaro salcyards.

The other firms have arranged to withdraw from sertain centres where the Loan Company is operating.
