WOMAN’S ACTION FAILS. WELLINGTON, Friday. On the ground that plaintiff had failed to dlsoharge the -onus to-prove that the defendant company’s negligence had caused the accident, Mr Justice Ostler nonsuited Gertrude Laura Cresswell, who claimed £3265 damages in the Supreme Court from the Dominion Farmers’ Institute, Limited, owing to severe injury received when in the employ of the company. Mrs Cresswell fell down steep steps adjacent to the .kitchen of the tearooms, -of which she was manageress In the Dominion Farmers’ Institute building.
