ELECTORS’ QUALIFICATION
CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL. REQUEST FOR INQUIRY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Monday. An important item of business to bo dealt with at the first meeting of the new City Council this evening concerns the letter from the Christchurch Citizens’ Association asking that an inquiry be made into the qualifications as electors of Mls3 Mabel Howard, the Rev. J. K. Archer, Mr G, T. Thurston, and Mr E. W. Howard, M.P., all successful Labour candidates at the recent elections.
