CONFERENCE IN ROME.
HITLER AND DALADIER EXPECTED
NAZIS IN AUSTRIA.
United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright, ROME, May 20. The Premier of Prussia, Captain Goering, has arrived in Rome by air on the eve of his meeting with the Fascist Grand Council. Rumours are revived of an impending visit by, the German Chancellor, Herr Hitler, to confer with the Italian Prime Minister, Signor Mussolini. It is even suggested that M. Daladier, French Prime Minister, may come to Rome to confer with both of them. It is announced that Prince Philip of Hesse* son-in-law of the King of Italy, has been appointed President of the Upper Province .of Hesse-Nassau. \ BERLIN, May 20. Herr Franck,- Bavarian Minister of Justioe, has warned Austria that Germany will not tolerate the suppres- ' sion of Nazis. University students have pledged themselves to promote a union between Germany and Austria. , DANZIG, May 20. The Danzig Government has suspended the leading German Newspaper, Neueste Naohriohten, owing ta its publication of an artiole favourin' the Nazis.
