The Reichsbank has cabled to the Bank of England regretting that the German exchange- position is so unfavourable that it seriously affects the further transfer of funds for debt service, necessitating ditect discussion with the creditors.

It requests the Bank of England to Invite the English bank committees, Issuing, houses, and trustees of German Issues to send representatives to a meeting to be held in Berlin on Thursday, May 25.
