WAINGARO SALE. Messrs G. W. Vercoe and Co., Ltd., report having held a stock sale at Waingaro on Thursday when the advertised yarding came forward. Competition throughout on all classes was fairly keen and prices were well up to expectations. Fat and forward Polled Angus and Shorthorn bullocks sold up to £3 J3s; forward conditioned Polled Angus bullocks, £3 to £3 ss; others, £2 J2s to £2 18s; and a-half year old Polled Angus and Hereford steers, £2 5s to £2 15s; 18 months Shorthorn steers, 30s to 335; fat and forward Polled Angus and Hereford cows, 35s to £2 3s; breeding cows, 25s to 30s; yearling Polled Angus steers, 20s to 235; yearling Polled Angus heifers, 15s to 17s.
