Basketball Dance. A basketball dance organised by the old Girls’ Club was held in the hall on Wednesday evening. The hall was prettily decorated, and an enjoyable. time was spent by all. Influenza is very prevalent in the district, many homes being affected. Personal. Miss I’lliilipps is spending the school holidays at her home in Alt. Kden. The Misses Robertson, of liactihi. are spending'the school holidays with their aunt, Mrs Meijuistan. Miss !». de l.uca is hulidaying in Auckland.
