Basketball Dance. A basketball dance organised by the old Girls’ Club was held in the hall on Wednesday evening. The hall was prettily decorated, and an enjoyable. time was spent by all. Kxeellenl mil si r was supplied by Clayton’s Orchestra, an extra being played, by Miss 1). Windsor. Aiming those present were:— .Misses ,M. liamsay, A. .Muir, A. Curie, |>. Windsor, It. de l.uca, U. do Luca, L. Massey, A. Shaw, I). Kerris, .1. liamsay, .1. Shaw, Margaret liamsay and visitors from Cambridge. Influenza. Influenza is very prevalent in the district, many homes being affected. Personal. Miss I’lliilipps is spending the school holidays at her home in Alt. Kden. The Misses Robertson, of liactihi. are spending'the school holidays with their aunt, Mrs Meijuistan. Miss !». de l.uca is hulidaying in Auckland.
