WOMAN INJURED.

WANDERING) ON RAILWAY LINE TE KUITI, Sunday. A woman patient In the Te Kuiti Hospital, clad only in her night attire, disappeared from the hospital at about 11 o'clock last night. A party was despatched to intercept a train due and warn the driver, but in the meantime the woman had reached the line and was walking along it. Although the train was travelling fairly slowly the woman was knocked down and seriously injured. The woman had been a patient in the hospital for about a week and was convalescing after a minor operation.
