An important plank in the Nazi educational programme provides that school children of both sexes must spend six months in labour camps before proceeding to the universities. It is expected that labour 'camps eventually will be made compulsory. At present students willing to go to camps' receive board and lodgings, wear field grey uniforms, engage in agricultural work and road construction.
