Besides one cannot defy Israel with Impunity.” Praising the condemnation of the revision of treaties by members of the House of Commons, irf view of the present state of Germany, M. Herriot declares: “ Britain has awakened and the Four Power Pact has been thrown overboard.' We can breathe again. The vigorous British democracy now understands what' is hidden under the 'sophism of treaty revision. It is a remarkable volte face facilitating our work at Washington."
