THE THAMES CLUB.
ANNUAL MEETING. The popular annual Thames light harness fixture will be held on the Parawai course on Saturday, April 1, and the excellent programme drawn up should ensure strong support from owners and public alike. Stakes totalling £’B2s will be distributed, including a canteen of cutlery to the winner of the principal event, the Thames Trotting Gup. The programme is an attractive one which fully merits the support accorded Thames trotting fixtures of past years. It "' fortunate that no clash of dates will now occur, following the rejection by the New Zealand Racing Conference of the Avondale Jockey Club’s application for permission to race on April 1 and 3.
