AUSTRALIA SEVEN FOR 385. DARLING COMPILES 85. OVER 30,000 PRESENT. (Received Feb. 24, 3 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 24. The weather was hot and fine for the second day’s play in the fifth test match between England and Australia at Sydney to-day. There was a crowd of over 30,000. Darling and Oldfield resumed Australia’s innings but with the total at 328 and his score at 85, Darling was bowled by Verity. At the time of going to press Australia had lost 7 wickets for 385.
