WINTER SHOW
INTEREST IN AMERICA.
INTERCHANGE OF VIEWS. Great interest has been evinced in parts of the United Slates of America and Canada in The Call, the official organ of the Waikato Winter Show Association, which the secretary (Mr W. 11. Paul) forwarded to numerous kindred bodies there. Among the communications received were letters from Messrs Armstrong, Brown and McKnight, attornjeys, Humbolt, Nebraska, Knox County; Better Livestock and Pair Association, Nebraska; Lamoille Valley Fair, Morrisvillc, Vermont; Madison Country Fair, London, Ohio; Northvillo Wayne County Fair, Michigan; Oklahoma State Fair and Exhibition; Tillamook County Fair, Oregon; Van Wert County Fair, Ohio, U.S.A.; and Cameron, Nanoose and Newcastle Agricultural Association, Vancouver Island; Fredericton Exhibition, N. 8.; Lansdowne Agricultural Society, Ontario; and Red Deer Agricultural Society, Albcrton, Canada.
All of these organisations express admiration for tho manner in which The Call is got up and the way its useful information is presented. In giving particulars of their own shows the request is made that the forwarding of The Call should become a regular feature. As for llie Waikato Winter Show tho opinion is expressed that it tins many events in common with similar organisations, but that it lias several unique ones worthy of adoption to the advantage of other shows.
The newspapers in the various centres concerned also commented most favourably on tho show and The Call, and one in its editorial column says: “We hope wo may lie able to hear more of llie folk in Hamilton.”
