CHEMIST THREATENED.
ATTEMPT TO EXHORT FORMULA. TWO MEN SENTENCED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Wednesday. Raymond Francis Gregg (37), electrician, and David McArthur Todd (46) were sentenced to-day for conspiring to commit a crime by threatening, with intent to exhort from Fredercik Edwards, a chemist’s formula, to accuse him of having committed a crime. Gregg was sentenced to two years’ hard labour, and Todd to 18 months’.
