YESTERDAY’S RESULTS. DUNEDIN, Tuesday. At the band contest this morning results were: Trombone Trio.—-Port Nicholson Silver Band (J. R. Marshall, W. Metson, K. Owers), 82 points, i; Woolston Band (E. Williams, H. Lanham, W. Steer), 80 points, 2; St. Kilda Municipal Band (T. Anderson, R. Miller, B. A. Munro), 75 points, 3. E Elat Tenor Horn Solo (Own choice). —L. G. Taylor (Westport Municipal Band), 91 points, 1; W. M. Wills (Invercargill Civic Band), 87 points, 2; D. G. D. Scott (St. Kilda Municipal Band), 86 points, 3. Test Selection, B grade.—Hastings Citizens’ Band, I; Ashburton Silver Band, 2; Westport Municipal Band, 3; Greymouth Civic Band, 4.
