The Health 'Depa"lment has received authentic information in regard to the influenza epidemic in Great Britain io the effect that the -disease is not of unusual severity in type, and the incidence of death is for the most part normal. The epidemic has been regarded In ofllcia! quarters at Home as serious but not alarming, and it is staled to bo probably declining.
