Her first and only appearance in Hamilton will he an event of the greatest possible importance. Besides bringing out a complete London company, the management arc touring their own scenery and effects, all of which have been specially designed and executed by first-class English artists and theatrical manufacturers. In every wav this appearance of England’s greatest actress and London’s leading producer in Mr Lewis Casson, husband of Miss Thorndike, will provide a unique insight into the finer products of Hie contemporary London stage.
