Captain Hope and his companion, Mr Heanly, who were conducting a search in the Alps for the missing aviator, Hinkler, and whose prolonged absence caused some concern, have been found. They landed near a village in the Simplon Valley yesterday, and continued the search on foot. Later. After landing, Captain Hope and Mr Ileanley proceeded on foot In the direction of Dlablerets, where it is believed they saw traoes of Hinkler. A later message says that Captain Hope has abandoned the search for Mr Hinkler, owing to the adverse weather conditions.
