THE ANNUAL REPORT. LOSS OF £7CO IN YEAR. AUCKLAND, Friday. The 31st annual report of the Auckland Commercial Travellers’ and Warehousemen’s Association, to be presented at the annual meeting this evening, states 'that a loss ol £<t>o was made on the year’s operations. “ This loss is accounted for by the serious and unparalleled economic conditions which have affected the spending power of members, which restriction lias been apparent in almost every business in the country, the report continues. 'Plie, membership of the association bad decreased from 848 in 19311“ VH) ill 11)32* and lhe figures for the club were 170 and 140 respectively. Owing to changes in commercial and trading conditions lhe basis of eligibility of association •membership bad been broadened for two years.
