MUST BE A TEETOTALLER. EXPERIENCES IN POLAND. WARSAW, Nov. 25. Poland is seeking a teetotal hangman. The last holder of the office was dismissed for drunkenness while on duty. Arthur Braun was then appointed with two assistants, and they adjourned to a public house to celebrate their good fortune. The three were very shortly very drunk, and beat the occupants of the bar with brandy bottles. Braun was immediately dismissed. The Minister of Justice is now pondering on the qualification of 120 applicants for the office ol' the hangman.
