FREEZING WORKERS.
PRESENT ATTITUDE MAINTAINED. CONFERENCE ON WEDNESDAY. AUCKLAND, Saturday. A decision to maintain their present attitude in the freezing works dispute until the result, of the conference to be held in Wellington on Wednesday between representatives of the employers and employees is known, was made by members of the Auckland Butchers and Slaughtermen’s Union at a meeting held yesterday. It is cNpcelcd that a conference will be held in Wellington on Wednesday between the. Freezing Workers’ Federation and the freezing companies, at which I lie Minister of Labour is likely to attend.
CONFERENCE AT WELLINGTON. TO BE HELD TO-MORROW. WELLINGTON, Monday. In the hope of sellling outstanding differences a conference of representatives of Hie freezing companies and workers will lie held at Wellington to-morrow.
