Thanks to the restriction scheme prices at Smithfleld continue to harden, all imported mutton, lamb, and frozen beef averaging a penny per lb higher. (Australian lamb, whioh w’aa unsaleable a few weeks ago, particularly benefited, and is 74d above the prioe then nominally quoted. Sales are approximately on the same scale as before the Governmental aotlon.
