SANDERS CUP.

DESIGN OF BOATS DISCUSSED. (Bv Teicsrrttph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. The measurements of boats for the Sanders Gup contest were discussed at a meeting of the Canterbury Sailing and Power-boat Association. Letters were received from the Auckland and Otago associations and the Stewart Island Yacht Club, expressing agreement with the Canterbury proposal that boats built either to the new or old moulds, or both, should he eligible for the Sanders Cup. It was derided to leave further discussion to the next Dominion conference, but (he association was agreed that the typo of boat should be altered. A proposal to form a Dominion council to control tho Sanders Cup and other lnter-provlnclal races which might he established in the futuro. was discussed, and it. was decided that the" Canterbury Association should write to other associations to appoint delegates to a conference to be held at the time of the Sanders Cup contest for the purpose of discussing the formation of a national governing body.
