The Nobel Prize for 1932 for medicine and physiology has been jointly awarded to Sir Charles Sherrington and Professor Edgar Douglas Adrian, for their discoveries in connection with tiie function of neurons. Sir Charles Scott Sherrington, 0.M.. M.D., D.Se., is a member of the Medical Research Council of the Prlvj Council. He is regarded as a foremost authority on brain and nervous diseases. Professor Edgar Douglas Adrian, M.D., F.R.S., is Foulerton Professoi of the Royal Society and Fellow oi Trinity College, Cambridge.
