ANGLE PARKING DANGER.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—With the angle parking of motor vehicles in Victoria Street the need for adequate warning by cars backing out into a stream of oncoming traffic Is evidenced more every day. Especially is this so in the case of cyclists, who have, on occasions, to employ every ‘dexterity and watchfulness to avoid being knocked down and injured. Judicious utilisation of the horn would obviate the possibility of an accident and the' danger of a cyclist being knocked over in the path of an oncoming car or bus. True, since the inauguration of angleparking no accidents have occurred in this way—more through good luck than good management, yet the need for a by-law to prevent such a possibility is worthy of the earnest consideration of oUr councillors.—l am, etc., JUST MISSED.
