(To the Editor.) Sir, —Will you allow me space to add my protest against the use of the unemployment funds for rebuilding a hotel at Napier. In my opinion the £BOOO loan from the unemployment fund could have been better spent. It is a crying shame for the Government to ask the married and single men to work for a mere starvation wage, then loan money out of the unemployment funds for such a purpose.
