Orphans Club. The Morrinsvllle Orphans opened their season on Tuesday evening. The newly elected president, Bro. Caulfield, was installed in the c-halr by -past president Bro. String-field. There was a -full gathering of members and an om-cial visit was paid by the To Aroha Orphans, and brethren were present from Cambridge and other clubs. A
feature of the evening was the presentation of medals to all the past ■ presidents of the club. Tlie programme was contributed to by the? orchestra, Bros. Strlngfleld, Faulkner. Echlin, Jones, Hampshire (Cambridge), O’Connor (Te Aroha), Herbert, Hampshire and Bro. Revel. Invitations were extended by the representatives from Te. Aroha, Cambridge and Hamilton Clubs to Morrinsvllle members to attend their meetings, Te Aroha on July 7,- Cambridge on July 11, and Hamilton on July 18. Relief Depot Opened. ■ ' I - : . ' A depot for the relief of distress was opened a-t Morrinsville at the end ■of last week and quite a largo amount of produce and clothing was received for distribution. At a meet-
ing of tho central oommlttee on Monday,'lt was deolded to make an appeal for old books and magazines. The Morrlnsvllle Girl Guides have raised enough money to buy a ton of coal and give to the relief committee.
