USE MORE WOOL.

AN INTERESTING STALL. SPINNING WHEEL AND LOOMS. In an effort to induce people to make more use of wool the Women's Division of the New Zealand Farmers' Union are displaying a wonderful range of exhibits at the Show. The display, which is in charge of Mrs L. V. Judd, represents dozens of woollen garments and materials —all made by hand by farmers’ . wives. They demonstrate in a striking manner what an enormous number of useful things can be made out of wool. Among the interesting processes operated in this stall is a spinning wheel worked by Mrs Olden, of Onewhero. Technical School girls are also employed daily in operating table looms and hand weavers. Another object which has attracted a good deal of attention is a floor-mat homespun and dyed by a lady 70 years of age. Women, especially, are picking up many hints from this stall.
