The firm has recognised the importance of land drainage and the need of a Low-lift Pump, with considerably Improved hydraulic characteristics and increased efficiency, to such an extent that they have designed an entirely new Lowlift Flood Water Pump in sizes with capacities ranging from 40,000 to 360,000 gallons per hour. Low running costs and high capacity are the salient features of this pump. Another feature of the firm’s manufacture which is also on display, is the new beam type deepwell gearing. It is self-oiling, has a variable stroke and a totally enclosed gear that runs in oil and is counter-balanced, while it will run for months Without attention. Going further, there is for inspection a new model Centrifugal Pump, which.is directly coupled to an electric motor. It is designed for sump work and can be used for other purposes for pumping and is proving very efficient. This pump, which Is in universal use by butter and -cheese factories, is made in sizes ranging. from 500 gallons to 45,000 gallons per hour. Pressure outfits, which are self-oiling and automatically controlled, are manufactured in four sizes, ranging from 230 gallons to 3000 gallons per hour. These enable farmers to maintain the water supply on their farms, in their sheds, washhouses, etc., at city pressure, which is essential to success in the maintenance of the all essential water supply. The famous "L.K.G.” Milking Machine needs no introduction to the successful dairy farmer. For long service and low running costs the “L.K.G.” has no equal. Every one in three in use is an “L.K.G.", the sales of which show 8000 out of 22,000. There are i four models of the “L.K.G.”, which j -arc procurable at competitive prices, j Standard and Minor plants, the latter an entirely new feature, are on exhibit.
