REQUEST FOR WARNINQ SIGNAL. | RAILWAY REPLY UNSATISFACTORY. The district engineer. New Zealand Railways, Auckland, has advised the Borough Council that the council’s i previous representations regarding the I provision of an automatic signalling i device at the Grey Street railway crossing were again brought under ihe notice of his head ofllce when report- : ing the circumstances of the recent I collision at Ihe crossing.
