AUSTRALIANS AT PRACTICE. PHILADELPHIA, May 19. The members of the Australian Davis Cup team, full of determination and confidence, began real practice to-day for the final round in the North American zone play in the contest against the United States team. Tiie visitors were watched by a good number of club members. They indulged in a stiff work-out on the courts.

The cup matches will be played at the Country Club’s courts at Bala, Philadelphia.

FURTHER RESULTS. (Received May 21, 1.30 p.rn.) London, May 20. In the eliminating rounds of the Davis Cup competition, Rogers ami McGuire (Ireland) in the doubles beat Yon Kcliriing and Cabrowiez (Hungary), 4—6, 7—5, G—4, G—4. The result of this match depends on the final singles. At Vienna Prerm (Germany) beat Matejka (Austria), o—2, 10—8, G —l; Yon Gramm (Germany) beat Artens (Austria). o—2, G —o, G—4.
