SKATING IN HAMILTON
NEW RINK OPENED
A POPULAR RENDEZVOUS. The exhilarating thrills and wholesome exercise of roller skating were experienced under the most delightful conditions last -evening, when the new Rialto Rink, next to Yalintine's Garage, Victoria Street, was officially opened by the Mayoress, .Mrs E. D. Pin fold.
After congratulating llie promoters on their enterprise Mrs Pinfold donned a pair of skates and opened the rink by breaking a streamer stretched
across the door. Skating bids fair to become highly popular among Hie Ramdlon public Ibis winter, and the Rialto should become a regular rendezvous. Effective gold decorations and pleas.ml music, combined with a perl'ce! door, provide all the elements for first-class entertainment. A 'separate link lias keen set aside for beginners, who wilt be given every courtesy and attention by qualified inslruetors. Ample lloor span! is available and tin' large crowd who patronised last night's session had a thoroughly enjoyable time. There wiil be three, sessions to-day and the rink will be open (hereafter each afternoon and evening.
